BrandPush vs. IssueWire: Distribution Models Compared

Compare BrandPush and IssueWire by publication network, review, writing options, and proof of results.

BrandPush and IssueWire both offer paid online press-release visibility, but the first question is what a selected package actually delivers. BrandPush emphasizes publication on the sites in a chosen network and a report of live placement links. IssueWire lists multiple distribution tiers with different outlet counts and add-ons. Neither provider's largest network number proves that a reporter wrote an independent story or that every outlet will accept every topic.

Compare the package, not the headline reach

BrandPush describes a workflow in which a customer submits or commissions a release, approves the copy, and receives a publication report after distribution. IssueWire's pricing page presents tiered options, including a free entry route and paid distribution. Check the exact outlets, country and industry targeting, word limits, images, and editorial restrictions on the plan you would buy. Brand and topic exclusions may affect where a release can appear.

Ask each provider for a recent example in your industry and geography. Open the live URLs in its sample report and note whether they are syndicated copies, provider pages, or independently reported articles. A media logo in a sales graphic does not by itself establish a placement in the package under review.

Check the work before and after publication

Writing and approval

Confirm whether you supply final copy or pay for writing, how many revisions are included, and who approves the final version.

Editorial review

Read current content rules and ask how rejection, delay, or a requested correction affects the order.

Media assets

Compare image and link allowances with the actual release rather than paying for unused features.

Proof

Request a report with working URLs, dates, and a clear label for each placement type.

Choose by the objective

If the objective is a checkable set of syndicated publication URLs, BrandPush's network-and-report model may be straightforward to evaluate. If the objective calls for a particular IssueWire tier or budget, inspect that tier's destination list and limits closely. In either case, journalist outreach is a separate task unless the contract explicitly includes it.

Record relevant traffic, inquiries, and accurate independent coverage after the release. AMEC distinguishes distribution output from audience response; PRSA's ethics guidance supports honest reporting of the result. Prices and package lists change, so use the linked official pages for a current quote.
