This page preserves a historical list of startups that announced financing during 2024. 'Latest' refers to that year, not to current fundraising status. The companies were chosen because an issuer or investor published a dated announcement, not because they share a valuation, geography, or performance level. Funding is a resource for a plan; it does not by itself prove that the plan succeeded.
Four announcements across sectors
Prometeo — January, $13 million Series A
Antler documented the Latin American financial-infrastructure company's financing, led by Antler Elevate.
Spektr — February, €5 million
Seedcamp reported funding for the Copenhagen fintech building due-diligence software. The source does not call this a Series A.
ThinkLabs AI — May, $5 million seed
The issuer reported a seed financing alongside its launch for grid-operations technology.
Infinite Machine — October, $9.3 million seed
The New York mobility company announced capital intended to support production and a market launch of its electric scooter.
Read an announcement accurately
Dates here are publication dates of the linked reports, which can differ from transaction closing dates. Amounts are stated in the original currencies and should not be added without a clearly defined conversion date and scope. A Series A round, a seed round, and a round without a published stage are not interchangeable measures of maturity.
The announcement may present plans for hiring, product launch, or geographic expansion. Those are intentions at the time, not verified later outcomes. For AI or financial-services businesses, separate the funding event from claims about model capability, compliance, or customer impact. Follow-up reporting and direct company confirmation are necessary if those facts matter now.
Keep a list useful after the year ends
Maintain the source URL, issuer, date, currency, amount, stage, and any later corrections. Mark undisclosed figures as undisclosed. Do not silently update an old list with a later round while leaving the 2024 title intact. Readers should be able to distinguish a historical funding record from a live directory.
This short selection cannot support a statement about total startup investment or the top companies of 2024. Its value is that each entry can be checked against a dated primary announcement. For a broader market analysis, use a defined database methodology and reconcile duplicate rounds, undisclosed amounts, and differing sector labels.
