Amerigo Scientific announced an addition to its enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay catalog: a SAN HQ ELISA kit for measuring residual salt-active nuclease. SAN HQ is used in some bioprocessing workflows to break down unwanted nucleic acids. Measuring what remains in a process sample can help laboratory teams monitor removal of the enzyme during development and manufacturing.
The kit uses a sandwich ELISA method, in which antibodies capture and detect a target so its level can be estimated against calibration samples. Amerigo's product overview lists both SAN HQ and M-SAN HQ assays and describes their roles in testing process and final-product samples. The original launch release specified a 96-well plate format and included practical details about single or duplicate determinations; actual capacity and instructions should be checked on the current kit documentation.
