Announcement
Blue-Band and Metrolla announced a partnership in July 2025 concerning rail and parking infrastructure. The companies said they would connect Blue-Band's Integrator-AI software with Metrolla's edge-perception systems so operators could combine sensor information with existing workflows. NewswireJet archived the announcement on July 29; Metrolla's own site carries a version of the company release.
The release described possible uses such as parking occupancy, track or platform intrusion alerts, and crowd-density monitoring. It called the approach camera-free and privacy-first and made claims about low latency and easier deployment. Those are vendor descriptions, not an independent safety certification, privacy audit, or evidence of performance at a particular transit agency. An announced integration also does not mean every listed use case is deployed.
Transport operators considering such systems should evaluate sensors, data retention, error rates, accessibility, procurement requirements, and the consequences of false alerts in their own environment. This historical page records the companies' stated partnership and intended applications, without suggesting that automated detection replaces trained staff or established safety procedures.
