He said he had completed surgeon-to-surgeon training at Establishment Labs in Costa Rica. The technique is intended to place an implant while limiting disruption to existing breast tissue and the chest muscle.
The launch materials described Motiva Ergonomix implants, smaller incisions, and a procedure intended to preserve supporting anatomy. They also advertised quick recovery and specific aesthetic outcomes. Those timelines and results were claims made in the announcement, not assurances for an individual patient. Agullo's practice continues to list the technique among its surgical offerings, but suitability depends on a personal assessment and current device guidance.
