Announcement

South Korean digital-asset exchange INEX announced on April 1, 2025 that it was expanding its existing anti-money-laundering team into a dedicated center. The company described work on customer due diligence, transaction monitoring, suspicious-activity analysis and risk management. Korean business reporting at the time also recorded the announcement, and INEX's current company site identifies an AML center within its organization.

The release said the exchange intended to add staff and organize planning and operations work. It also described a policy for transfers below one million won and a consulting engagement with ABLE Consulting. Those are historical descriptions of the company's compliance program, not an independent audit of its effectiveness. The person named as the center's inaugural director in the 2025 release is not presented as its current leader; INEX's present team page names a different head of AML.

An AML department does not eliminate fraud, guarantee customer protection, or establish that every product is permitted in every jurisdiction. Anyone assessing a digital-asset service should verify the current legal entity, registration, terms, custody arrangements and applicable regulator through official records. This page documents the 2025 organizational announcement, not a recommendation to trade.
