Announcement

Muse Wearables introduced Ring One in 2023 as a smart ring intended to combine health tracking with contactless payments. Its distributed launch announcement described a titanium-and-ceramic design, a rotating outer interface, a charging case, and a crowdfunding campaign. Semiconductor supplier Renesas subsequently published a customer story about the device and its use of near-field communication technology.

The launch materials listed measurements including heart rate, temperature, respiratory rate, blood oxygen, and blood pressure, alongside plans for payment support in several markets. These were product claims at launch, not independent clinical validation or evidence that every promised feature shipped on schedule. In particular, a wearable's health readings should not be used to diagnose or treat a condition without medical guidance and appropriate validation.

Anyone considering a current purchase should verify availability, supported payment networks and countries, warranty, return terms, app compatibility, and the status of each measurement feature directly with Muse Wearables. Crowdfunding figures and introductory prices from 2023 are historical and do not describe today's purchase terms.
