The Ivy Institute reported in an August 2025 announcement that 96% of its participating students who applied to all eight Ivy League universities in the 2024-25 cycle received at least one offer. The firm also said nearly 30% of those students were admitted to more than one Ivy League school. These were self-reported results for a specific group and cycle, not an independently established national ranking of admissions consultants.
The firm's later explanation uses a different, current historical figure and explicitly distinguishes a student-level, multiple-college outcome from an individual university's admission rate. The comparison matters: applying to eight schools creates more opportunities for at least one offer than applying to one, while students who seek private consulting may differ from the overall applicant pool in resources and preparation. Neither a reported past result nor a consultant's model can guarantee admission for another student.
Families assessing admissions help should ask how the denominator is defined, which application cycles are included, whether outcomes were verified, and what services and fees are in the contract. They should evaluate fit, integrity, student ownership of the work, and realistic school lists alongside any success statistic. The firm's 2025 figure should be read as its historical claim, not a verified national ranking.
