Announcement
ValeVPN introduced a cloud-based VPN concept built around dedicated, disposable servers and took it to Kickstarter in November 2022. The campaign described a one-button way for a user to start a private server and remove it after a session. The crowdfunding record shows a November 1 to December 1 funding period and a completed campaign, rather than an offer that remains open today.
The launch announcement emphasized privacy, speed, and resistance to blocking. Those were the developer's product claims; a temporary server alone does not make online activity untraceable or guarantee security. A VPN also cannot replace device updates, careful account security, or an assessment of the provider's logging and data-handling practices. The campaign page is useful for the original product description and timeline.
ValeVPN subsequently published a notice saying its VPN service would shut down permanently on December 23, 2024. Readers should not treat the original release's download links, membership pricing, or crowdfunding incentives as current offers. Its technical concept remains part of the historical record, but the company's own closure notice is decisive for present service availability.
