PRWeb Review and Pricing: What Each Package Includes

Compare PRWeb's current public tiers, distribution claims, editorial services, and limits before ordering.

An abstract network of retail competitors and market charts.

PRWeb is Cision's online news-release distribution service. This is a documentation-based review of its public offering, not a hands-on test or a claim about achieved coverage. PRWeb's official pricing page listed Basic at $120, Standard at $245, Advanced at $360, and Premium at $480 per release when checked on September 17, 2026. The older prices previously published at this URL were stale; confirm live checkout terms before buying.

Current public packages

01

Basic — $120 per release

PRWeb lists unlimited media assets, editorial keyword tagging, and increased search visibility, with a stated 48-hour turnaround. Its pricing page does not list the same syndication network as higher tiers for Basic.

02

Standard — $245 per release

Adds PRWeb's advertised online syndication to a network it describes as more than 1,200 websites powered by PR Newswire, with a stated 48-hour turnaround. A network count is not a guarantee of 1,200 live placements for one release.

03

Advanced — $360 per release

Lists enhanced syndication, email distribution to one industry-curated journalist list, editorial proofreading, and a stated 24-hour turnaround. Email delivery is not independent editorial coverage.

04

Premium — $480 per release

Adds distribution to Sovrn's content-recommendation network to the Advanced-style features. Ask what sites, placement types, duration, and reporting are included for the specific order.

What the service appears to do well

PRWeb presents a clear tier structure and publishes a detailed feature comparison. Teams can choose whether they need a basic hosted release, broader syndication, or an added journalist-list email. Its site also describes editorial review and reporting after distribution.

The package descriptions are provider claims. A released URL, partner copy, inbox delivery, and a reporter-written article are different outcomes. Request a sample report that shows full URLs and distinguishes those categories before judging value from a logo list or distribution-network number.

Limits and questions to ask

Check eligibility rules, word or link restrictions, multimedia treatment, corrections, timing cutoffs, add-on charges, and refund terms for your actual release. PRWeb also offers sales-led packages beyond the four public tiers, so a custom quote may differ from the displayed per-release prices.

PRWeb's pages use search-visibility language, but no distribution provider controls Google indexing or ranking. Publishing a release should be part of a broader plan that includes a credible source document, relevant direct outreach where appropriate, and a way to measure actual audience response.

Who it may suit

A team wanting a standard online release workflow with a defined price and reporting may find the public tiers easy to compare. A team whose main objective is independent reporting should evaluate the news itself, the reporter list, and its capacity to answer questions; paying for a higher tier does not remove that need.

The decision above is an inference from PRWeb's published features, not a performance ranking against other services. Recheck its official pages at purchase time because prices, turnaround commitments, and partner networks can change.
